Rezumat

The economic integration is a phenomenon that exceeded now long time ago the limits of international trade or the movement of capital and is increasingly characterizing the free movement of persons. If initially the Republic of Moldova evaluated the diaspora’s merits through the volume of remittances that it was able to transfer to the country, gradually this potential generator of positive economic effect, was felt due to its non-financial merits such as: the spreading of financial skills and lifestyle specific to the host society by interacting with those who had rested home, accessing various financial products when returning from a country with a higher level of financial inclusion, transposing the need for financial security of their savings and expenses by using formal methods of saving up or transfer and even launching economic activities. The article presents an approach to the interaction between the financial behavior of diaspora and the evolution of the level of financial education of the population in Republic of Moldova, as well as the opportunity to transform this aspect in a real component of economic development.
