In the present work, the author will focus on analysing the actions and measures carried out by the soviet NKGB towards youth and some representatives of the intellectual class from the Moldavian SSR in the first post-war years, as well as the factors that determined their need. The study will allow us to elucidate elements of modus operandi and special measures used by the soviet security structures in relation to mentioned social classes and their role in the context of consolidating the soviet regime in the Moldavian SSR. Taking into account that the subject of the study remains very poorly explored in the Moldovan historiography, this work will contribute to acquire a better knowledge of this historical episode. This study is based on unpublished documents from the archive of the Security and Intelligence Service of the Republic of Moldova (ASISRM) and other historiographical sources. |
