The Maramures region, by its tourist location, offers favorable natural and anthropic conditions regarding the provision of tourism and agreement services. Besides the natural environment, the area has many objects of touristic interest, significant monuments, historical vestiges. Anthropic objects, monasteries, wooden churches, folklore events and objects, etc. the specificity of the area has preserved the tourist objects from Maramureş, preserving the millennial traditions of carving masters of houses, churches and wooden monasteries.
