A situation of social dysfunction can occur at any time, because this is actually part of the socio-human evolution. This dysfunction can be the result of several causes: both personally and by the factors of the environment in which the person is. The principle of the holistic approach is based on the assertion that a person is made up of interdependent components, and if one does not work properly, all the other parties will be affected. The concept of activity in social assistance consists of two distinct components: social services and social benefits. Social functioning is considered effective if the social responsibilities towards the society are generally fulfilled, to those in the immediate vicinity or to one's own person. These responsibilities include meeting the basic needs of the individual and family members who depend on it. Needs are a certain state of deficiency, of deficiency, which requires a certain solution. This state of deficiency can be felt as a state of tension at a given time by a group of individuals or individually. Solving these needs is the distinct activity of the social worker, which helps restore the social functioning of individuals, families and ultimately the community. A holistic approach in the work of the social worker is currently considered necessary, essential and indispensable for a clear concept of social services. With regret, I find the fact that, at present, in the Republic of Moldova, there was a lack of research and empirical evidence regarding the evaluation of environmental factors (facilitators / barriers) according to the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (CIF) through the Survey social. |
