Rezumat

In the context of new social and economic changes, education must meet the requirements of the field of activity. This should be done on the basis of modern concepts that have demonstrated increased efficiency in conducting educational work, focusing on professional competences. Currently, a good teacher does not only fulfill his professional obligations; he/she is a creative person as well. Therefore, the future of our society is determined by the personal qualities that the teacher will know how to apply, by his/her ability to reach the students’ sensitive soul strings, because education and qualitative training is impossible without professionalism. At present general and vocational education face a number of social and cultural transformations that stimulate innovative processes. This and many other changes have catalyzed the development and implementation of innovations in music education: integrating the process of music education by the competent work of the teacher of music education.
