Rezumat

Internet use and commerce are an important part of the business sector. The impact of e-commerce is omnipresent, with the retail industry affected as well. The e-commerce is continuing to grow, and consumers are becoming increasingly methodical in their purchasing behaviour. This is shown by the fact that more and more Europeans regularly shop online and spend a higher average amount than ever before. Internet, as a part of everyday life offers a possibility of business advancement, while Internet trade in comparison with classical trade is much more profitable way of trade for an entrepreneur due to simplicity and low costs. Internet trade should be simple to manage with, have a quality offer, outstanding prices, etc. Any possible obstacle over these features decreases the possibility that someone will decide to buy the product or service. It is also very important that the custoer is introduced to all the Internet trade rules and regulations. Many times customers find themselves in a situation when they don't know their rights in case that the product they purchased over the Internet isn't what they expected. There is also a great number of those who are still insecure when it comes to Internet trade. Those customers rather decide to visit the classical shops to purchase what they need. In comparison with other members of EU, Croatia did not reach maximum in the use of Internet and Internet trade, but that number is increasing every year. Internet market is one of the biggest world's market in development
