The valorisation of the „differences” leads to “alterity”, a concept that can be totally understood only through the perspective of the disciplinary junctions (history, sociology, philosophy, the history of the mentalities, psychology, ethno-psychology, comparative literature). The situation is oriented by „mentalities”, these being the ones that best „isolate” and differentiate the civilizations. This is the directions of contemporary education also. They contributes to communication skills of students, to socio-psychological, moral- ethic and intercultural skills. The school practice provides sufficient examples of otherness in the positive use in educating young, based on democratic principles and the "equal opportunities". |
