The article summarizes the results of applying various computer technologies for creating digital topographic maps. Based on the analysis of traditional methods of map creation, the features of updating digital topographic maps of scale 1: 10 000 in the GIS "Panorama" software package are traced. The process of updating the topographic map is presented on a concrete example. In the process of updating the digital map, the peculiarities of using the latest technologies in the manufacture of maps in scientific institutions are taken into account, and special requirements of printing production are taken into account in order to ensure economic and high-quality reproduction of the map. |
