| Rezumat | ||||||
The results of 4-year research on the improvement of monitoring tools and on the detection of the possibility of catching hairy beetles by using color traps with attractants are presented. Taking into account the colour and olfactory preferences of hairy bronze beetle, color traps with bait based on natural essential oils were developed. The developed traps adequately reflect the seasonal years of hairy bronze beetle and are an environmentally safe means for monitoring this pest. The availability of accurate information on the phytosanitary situation, as a result of monitoring, allows for a differentiated approach to the garden and its individual sites. The developed color traps with attractants have shown high efficiency, they can be successfully used both for monitoring and for reducing the population density of hairy bronze beetle through mass trapping on fruit and berry crops. |
