Rezumat

This paper presents a conceptual architecture for the virtual instrumentation remote control over the Internet network. It is based on a multiple-layered structure that combines web services with clientserver procedures. The system allows a high flexibility with respect to physical devices supported as network procedures but also as development efficiency. Moreover, due to highly modularized structure it can be easily expanded and integrated with commercially available development suites.
