Rezumat

The aim of this study is a comparative evaluation of alternative methods to obtain alumina nanoparticles (Al2O3) through hidrotermal method at high temperature and presure (350-400°C and 1100-1600 barr), combustion method at different temperatures (500°C, 700°C and 900°C) and also modified Pechini method. As precursor was used Al(NO3)3, ethylene glycol, citric acid, surfactant (cetyl trimethylammonium bromide - CTAB) in presence of NaOH and neutral media. The obtained crystalline phases, the morphology and chemical composition of the nanoparticles have been characterized and investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), termogravimetry and differential thermal analysis (TG/DTA).
