Rezumat

The current issue of our magazine, The parents' school, focuses on several aspects of parental education and of family as the most important factor and environment that has great influence upon the development of a child's personality. Values, attitudes, behavior and models promoted within the family , problems of and suggestions for enhancement of the parents' educational demarche, recommendations on improving the school-parents partnerships are some of the topics referred to in the articles signed by T.Cartaleanu, R.Gavrilita, M.Ianachevici, R.Bezede. In the QUO VADIS column, Vl. Pohila comes with reflections about what does it mean to be contemporary, and E. Stan tries to explore the quality of an education that is situated between the scho¬ol and the television. The same column incorporates the results of a significant research commenced by Educational Centre PRO DIDACTICA, which is focused on the problems of the quality of teaching languages in the mi¬nority schools of the Republic of Moldova (S. Barbarov), and an attempt to reveal the truth about the textbooks of integrated history (S.Musteata). The attitudes and the efforts of the parents that raise children with disabilities are topics that interest out authors T.Vasian §i S.Toma, who are presented within the INCLUding me column. The rubric EX CATHEDRA offers our readers several articles: New educations and the moral education of the adolescent (Vl.Pâslaru, M.Tacu), Education within the standards (G.Albu), Modern curriculum - a projection of the intercultural education (Iu.Donţu). You will also find some methodological guidelines for improving the process of students' competency development at lessons of technological education (A.Rusu), and for develop¬ment of creativity within the teacher training programs for teachers of the same discipline (E.Rotari). The EARLY EDUCATION rubric features M.Vasiliev, with some useful advice for parents who have twins. D. Terzi, in her pleading within the GENDER EDUCATI¬ON column, brings to parents' attention the importance of the gender dimension in child's development. The articles signed by M.Teleucă, A.Muntean, L.Fîntînaru, E.Moga, L.Ursu, A.Teleman and S. Gînju within the columns DOCENDO DISCIMUS and EXERCITO, ERGO SUM present relevant professional experiences that can be of help to any teacher interested in improvement of classroom teaching methodologies. The concept of pa¬rents' school is discussed in detail in the DICŢIONAR column, traditionally signed by S.Cristea.
