A nilpotent ring R ~ and two ring topologies t~'' and t* on R ~ are constructed such that t* is a coatom in lattice of all ring topologies of the ring R ~ and such that between inf{~'', } td t and inf{t~'', t*} there exists an infinite chain of ring topologies, where td is the discrete topology. |
