Acute Pancreatitis at the Begining of the XXI Century The author presents a review of definitions, classifications, epidemiology, ethiology, pathoghenesis and prognostic scores of acute pancreatitis (АP). From these sources the author studied the historical aspects of the treatment of AP: the contemporary conservative treatment, the evolution of surgical methods, and the results of treatment.

Приводятся определение, классификация, эпидемиология заболевания, этология, патогенез и критерии прогноза эволюции ОП. Автор подробно останавливается на исторических аспектах лечения ОП: современных понятиях консервативного лечения, эволюции хирургических методов лечения ОП, показания, результаты.
