În articol sunt prezentate diferite căi de protecţie a invenţiilor, sunt specificate avantajele şi dezavantajele acestora, precum şi criteriile care pot fi€ folosite pentru a alege calea optimă de protecţie. Alegerea căii optime de protecţie ţine de strategia inventatorului referitor la o invenţie concretă şi aici este important să înţelegem de ce, în unele cazuri, inventatorii sau companiile aleg protecţia prin brevet, iar în alte cazuri, decid să meargă pe o cale diferită.

В статье представлены различные способы охраны изобретений, приведены их преимущества и недостатки, а также критерии, которые могут быть использованы при выборе оптимального способа охраны. Выбор оптимального способа охраны зависит от стратегии изобретателя по отношению к конкретному изобретению и здесь важно понять, почему в некоторых случаях изобретатели или компании останавливают свой выбор на патентной охране, а в других – они решают идти другим путём.
