The article presents two works, created by the French avant-gardist painter of Russian origin, that were painted for the Church Holy Trinity from Cuhureshty village. The church was built according to the project of Alex Sciusev, in 1914. The icons Saint Theodore and Saint Boris were made by Eugenia Apostolopolo-Bogdan order, in 1912-1913, and became a part of the collection of the engineer Dragoy. At this moment both of them are at the Ukrainian Art Museum in Odessa. |
