Rezumat

The present study aims at the role of the family in the inclusion of the child with Special Educational Needs in the Moldovan space in order to reduce the psychological and social problems faced by the child's family in its functional process of growth and education. In our empirical study we aimed to measure the well-being of parents of children with CES with personal assistant status. We used the Psychiatric Research Unit Questionnaire, WHO Collaborating Center for Mental Health, (1998). 48 parents with personal assistant status aged 30-60 from all 5 Social Assistance Directorates in Chisinau participated in the experiment. Of the 48 parents surveyed, 24 had personal assistant experience from 12 to 48 months, and 24 parents had experience from 3 to 6 months. The comparative analysis of the results allowed us to highlight that a higher well-being score is present in parents with more personal assistant experience. Personal assistant parents, benefiting from this service, become in a good mood, are calmer and more relaxed, rested and life becomes interesting. Respectively, the emotional climate in the family is positive for all members. This can be explained by the benefits of the social service personal assistance for parents and the inclusion of children with special educational needs.
