This paper presents the capacity building activities of the IT4BA innovation incubator and examines the characteristics of the digital economy environment in relation to different social classes. Capacity building development in the digital age is essential to ensure that individuals and organizations, representatives of different social classes can harness the potential of technology effectively. By focusing on capacity building aspects, individuals and organizations can thrive in the digital age, adapt to technological changes, and leverage technology to drive success and innovation. We recognize that the analysis of social class in the digital age requires a multi-dimensional approach that takes into account access to technology, digital literacy, online behavior, and the impact of digitization on socio-economic mobility. It is essential that we address digital inequality and make the benefits of the digital age available for all, regardless of their background. Doing our activities, we take into consideration that the digital age has introduced new dimensions and complexities that affect individuals' economic, educational, and social status. During our activities it is necessary to take into consideration some key points related to social classes in the digital age: Digital Divide, Educational Disparities, Remote Work and Gig Economy, Social Media Influence, Generational Divides, etc. |
