Rezumat

The authors study the luminescence spectra of zinc thioindate monocrystals under electron and optical excitation. The spectra consist of four elementary bands. They point out a possible relationship between the blue band (2. 6 ev) and the carrier recombination through the 'tail' of the density of states in the allowed bands.
