In the decades, humanity is increasingly faced with health problems from chemical sources, they being the main material for obtaining personal hygiene products. The acceleration of chemical technological progress has led to appearance of serious health and ecological problems that humanity cannot help but notice. The extent of processes related to waste management suggested the idea of capitalizing on the recycling of technological waste (rancid fats, drying uils, coffee grounds) to obtain biodegradable natural products. By knowing and applying the chemical properties of fats in chemistry classes, the students were able to investigate some aspects of fatsand their impact on the body, the environment, respectively students got to have natural soap.
