Rezumat

The homotrinuclear coordination compounds [Fe3O(CH 3COO)6H2O)3]NO3 and [Fe3O(CH3COO3)6(H2O) 3]NO3)7 were studied by cyclic voltammetry at stationary platinum electrode in dimethylsulfoxide with 0.1 M tetrabutylammoniumperchlorate as supporting electrolyte in order to sustain results of MO calculations performed on the two complexes. The potentials for the electrode processes visualized by the first voltammetric reduction wave are close for the two complexes. In an extended potential range (from +0.4 to -0.9V), the acetate bridged complex shows one and the glicine bridged complex shows two additional irreversible waves.
