From a structural point of view, the author states, the literary language of the majority population in the Republic of Moldova does not differ in any way from the Romanian language. The only difference, the different spelling (using the cyrillic alphabet in the Republic of Moldova and the latin alphabet in Romania), was liquidated by the adoption of the linguistic legislation regarding the return to the latin alphabet between rivers Prut and Dniester.
