The text represents fragments from the new book of the well-known Romanian historian (Ioan Scurtu. True stories. Memoirs. Editura Junimea, Iași, 2022), in which the author reports unique testimonies regarding the approach to the theme of Bessarabia. The author’s observations and experience highlight the subjective way of dealing with historical truth during the communist regime. |
