This article presents the emotional, social and behavioral difficulties of adolescents going through the experience of remigration. Returning to the country after a certain period of staying abroad, can disturb the teenager both internally and externally. Specifically, studies show that a considerable percentage of migrants have a significant or higher risk of developing a specific prosocial disorder: they have a medium or high degree of social anxiety, are fearful, hesitant in relationships with adults, but also with those of a similar age, learning difficulties, somatic problems and adaptation. This article also presents the measures that have been taken so far in Romania to support these students and outlines future directions of action, given the growing trend of the number of those returning to the country in the context of the current pandemic. |
