At present, the Turkic peoples have survived the various elements associated with the wolf cult. The vitality and importance of such beliefs are demonstrated. This article is a review of the published work about the wolf cult of the Gagauz peoples, written by E. N.Cvilinkova (2014). It is emphasized that in this work the author has identified and showed ethno-cultural Parallels in the field of folk culture, the influence of Christianity on the traditional rites, the cult of the Gagauz in comparison with other Turkic peoples, etc. Noted the novelty of the study E. N. Cvilincova this problem, as the wolf cult is explored through the prism of ethno-cultural. E. N. Cvilincova attracts its own field material and examines the historiography of the problem. In conclusion it is emphasized the contribution of the author in the study considered problem. Noted the importance of published monographs for scientists and researchers of the peoples of Eurasia.
