Rezumat

The paper deals with the control of Compound DC Motor (CDCM) with field weakening. Classical method is achieved by introducing additional resistance of excitation circuits. Authors proposed method is based on the separate control of the shunt and armature excitations windings. For the armature windings, excitation series and shunt excitation are powered separately from the DC / DC converter. Computer simulation and practical implementation results show that the separately excitation control of CDCM motor provides a more powerful method to traditional.
