The article analyzes the conclusions of geopolitics XIX-XXI centuries. In the light of the geopolitical ideas of the problem of national security; It recognizes that the solution to this problem, to obtain objective data on geo-political situation of the country is necessary to use tools of macroeconomic, demographic and social anthropology. Only through such involvement may be, in the opinion of the author, obsolete metaphysical nature of certain findings of geopolitics, overcome the isolation of science from the empirical specifics.
