The article examines the types of dwellings and outbuildings on the site of the artesian, Artesian investigated by an archaeological expedition. To date, within the investigated part of the settlement Artezian, an area of about 6215 sq. m., excavated about two dozen buildings. The exact number can not be specified, since some of the pits only with a large degree of conditionality can be interpreted as economic semidugouts. Except, oval structures with stone chute, they all belong to well known types of the Saltovo-Mayak buildings and find the massive analogy on the Kerch Peninsula and other regions of the Crimea. Most often it is the semi or lightly recessed and surface dwelling single chamber, dominated in the development of the settlement throughout the period of its existence. In the IX century in the village of Artezian, you receive a better type of dwelling – home-five-wall house, consisting of two United under one roof, premises. However, displace other previously known types of constructions, he failed.
