The present study aims to detail the protocol of veterinary sanitary authorization of projects involving the use of animals in procedures, a protocol that is a novelty in both the Romanian and European legislation. This protocol has its practical origins in Directive 2010/63 / EU, which regulates the use of animals in procedures, but which also requires Member States to draw up additional legislation on its implementation. If in the other European states the weight of the authorization falls on the central veterinary administrations, in the case of Romania the task of verification, if the ethical principles imposed by the Directive are respected,it is up to the Ethics Commissions set up at the level of user, breeding or supplier units. |
