Background. Oral diseases are a current problem in both dentistry and general medicine also social life of the population. Odontogenic maxillary sinusitis is of particular importance to OMF Surgeons due to the specific location of the roots of the upper teeth relative to the maxillary sinus. Objective of the study. Analyzing patients who presented to the dentist during 2020, and observing the link between their social status and oral health. Material and Methods. The study included 17 patients with various oral lesions, who were treated in the Department of Dental Surgery within the Municipal Enterprise "Chisinau Municipal Dental Center".The anamnesis of the patients was collected, they were investigated clinically and paraclinically. The specialized literature on similar situations was studied. Statistics - t Student. Results. According to the study data, of the 17 patients analyzed, 47% ± 6.78 were female, 53% ± 6.78 male.For all patients, the majority consists of those between the age of 61 years and more, 47% ± 6.69 and 7.05 ± 41% had two children.According to their residence, most were urban-dwellers environment 65% ± 6.03.Level of education, 29% ± 6.97 corresponds to people who have completed higher education, professional school and those without finished school studies.Diagnosis of inflammatory process was established in 76% ± 5,05din cases. Paraclinical examination of choice performed - orthopantomography, in 88% ± 4.59 of patients. The treatment in 71% of cases being Odontectomy ± 3.75. Conclusion. We found that age, gender and number of children directly influences oral health.Social status is the decisive cause that influences the degree of demand of patients to dental services, which makes odontectomy the method of first-line treatment |
