Background. Pelvic trauma is one of the most difficult problems in lesion surgery. The main purpose of treatment is to preserve the patient's lives by early stabilization of hemodynamic parameters and mechanical stabilization of the pelvic ring. Objective of the study. In this work we study the general problems of pelvic trauma, available treatment methods and special recommendations to evaluate and select the optimal treatment for pelvic ring fractures. Material and Methods. The medical histories of patients with pelvic ring lesions who received medical care at the Institute of Emergency Medicine were analyzed. The applied treatment methods were studied and discussed. The literature on similar cases has been studied. Results. Pelvic injuries are among the most serious skeletal injuries. Despite the extensive arsenal, techniques and means of stabilizing the pelvis, orthopedic and traumatic problems remain far from being solved. This is demonstrated by a significant number of post-traumatic disabilities. Therefore, the treatment and tactical schemes of surgical and orthopedic treatment for severe pelvic injuries require discussion, opinion and improvement. Conclusion. In almost all cases, an adequate surgical correction of pelvic ring lesions is possible in the IMU Clinic. In polytrauma, the help provided must be consistent, persistent and sufficient. |
