Despite the fact that the politico-administrative relationship represents a controversial topic, it should be given special attention by proclaiming the necessity of public administration reform, which should generate a set of measures for reducing the effects of civil service politicization. The main objective of this study is to identify the framework, in which the political sphere exerts its influence on public administration, and to analyze the impact of politicization of the civil service on the stability of the civil service and recruitment and selection of civil servants.
