The application of situational leadership models in the public administration system encourages a flexible leadership style, depending on different behaviors of subordinates, as well as other concrete situations. The organizational conducive environment for situational leadership is one that encourages continuous learning and improvement, as both parties - leading civil servants and executive civil servants, need to develop their skills for a better adaptation to the ever-changing organizational environment. The article tackles the current issues related to the training and development of effective leadership skills, which is considered a decisive factor in changing administrative structures and obtaining maximum results from employed staff in the public sector. |
