The present article aims at tracing some important theoretical aspects related to the research of lies. Offering diverse definitions and typologies, the article underlies the difficulty of studying the process of lying. It also points out the variety of aspects worth knowing and understanding. The author reveals the most frequent motives of the phenomena, thus explaining the psychological mechanisms which generate the act of lying. A different approach to such a controversial issue as the phenomena of lying is being suggested by the author. |
