Transdisciplinarity, in its new theoretical and conceptual forms developed by Basarab
Nicolescu, want to integrate all types of scientific collaboration adapt to a new logical and
ethical level. It materializes because the different sciences didn’t find inside the answer for
paradox problems, and the collaboration inter-disciplines became absolutely necessary. But the
transdisciplinarity wasn’t a simple collaboration between the sciences. Basarab Nicolescu
promotes a transdisciplinarity metaphysic, methodology, epistemology, scientific ethic, actually
an entire philosophical system. This is the reason why emerges a new question: Is
transdisciplinarity a realistic epistemological concept and an available solution for the problem
of unity of science? In this work we want to find an answer of this important question and to
discover the limits and difficulties of this theoretical construction.
