Rezumat

In the countries of the European Union, including Romania, social policy has become an indispensable part of the prosperity policy of all members of society, its foundations being enshrined in the Treaty of Rome itself, which provided for measures to improve living and working conditions, harmonization of social systems in different Member States. In order to achieve the provisions of the social policy, the state must become more and more actively involved in the economic and social life and the policy of distribution of the society's goods, protecting certain categories of the population. These measures lead to the minimization of conflicts and social differentiation.
