An important area of improving higher education in the Russian Federation is the continuous modernization of federal state educational standards of higher education aimed at clarifying and updating the competency-based approach, the formation of professional standards for graduates and taking into account business requirements. The social role of the undergraduate program consists in the formation and development of student’s personal and professional qualities that can meet the professional standards requirements. For the training profile under consideration, the areas of professional activity and the field of professional activity are codified, in which graduates who have mastered the program can carry out professional activities. To conduct an in-depth analysis of profile characteristics, combined radial diagrams are constructed. As a result of studies of the professional competencies of bachelors in the field of training “Applied Informatics in Economics”, the educational program was updated in accordance with the new requirements of the Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Education and the academic plans and bachelor programs were adjusted at St. Petersburg Humanitarian University and Social Sciences. |
