| Rezumat | ||||||
The article presents an overview of the main concepts and characteristics of business process modeling. The motivation of this research derives from the practical need of stakeholders (developers of information systems, implementers of business processes within large and small enterprises, as well as consumers) to understand the theoretical and pragmatic differences of different types of models and how they can be applied in business (contracting, negotiation, sale, etc.). At the end of the article, the main strategic and operational challenges of business process modeling are presented. |
