Using the data provided by the national statistical authority (BNS), researcher is describing coordinates of the local offer and demand for fruits. The description is made in terms of quantity and value and the data used is including the purchase price and the value of the fruits consumed from owned orchards and auxiliary fields. The analysis also includes data about the variety group and its share in the total fruit demand or production. Ultimately the author is calculating the real growth rate of the value expression of the fruit demand, rate that has never been calculated before for Moldavian fruit market. |
