The theme proves the connection of the motto to the literary opera. The motto of each opera briefly retails message. One example is the poem „Enghidu‖ by N. Stănescu „My friend Enghidu died...‖, from there we deduce the idea and theme of the poem „The death of his friend, which brings suffering‖. Poem „Călin (File din poveste)‖ by M. Eminescu through the short motto reveals the whole idea of the opera „first love, first feelings‖. By illustrating these works,and by other is demonstrated the tight relationship between „moto and literary opera‖.
