By applying the shock with low negative temperatures to seeds, it has been demonstrated in accelerated mode that the relative resistance to frost of four wheat varieties is different. The seeds treated with the solution with natural growth regulator Reglalg before applying shock, demonstrated higher primary resistance to shock. Additionally, the plants obtained from these seeds demonstrated the superior capability to adapt to frost during the first and second phases of hardening. Mentioned effects tend to be more pronounced in the plants of genotypes with lower primary resistance to frost. |
