The article is devoted to the problem of strengthening the research component in the lessons of the history of Romanians and general history in the course of work with historical sources. The author offers a generalized methodological analysis in the history lesson, using written sources, caricatures, photographs and statistical data, which significantly affect the formation of personalities in the gymnasium and lyceum. This article presents algorithms for working with various sources, similar tasks are found in final exams at the end of 9th and 12th grades. The use and application of these methods contributes to better assimilation of new material for different categories of students.
