Surgery was performed on seven dogs and cats (2 with anus atresia and 5 with total rectal prolapse). These pathologies were recorded in different periods of the year. In the paper are elucidated the causes and clinical manifestations in the recto-anal abnormalities and in the total rectal prolapse. The radical surgical method is described in the treatment of anus developmental abnormalities, the method of temporarily fixing the slashed region of the rectum with the subsequent total amputation of the affected portion. It is proposed the method of treatment of the abutment after the amputation of the slashed rectum and the application of the sutures by lubrication with Asocilin. |
