The work presents the results of the study on the productive and economic impact of the use of protein concentrate of feathers in the feed of young progeny porcine. As a result of the research, new results on the productivity and quality of carcasses at pigs were obtained using the protein concentrate of feathers in different proportions in the recipe. The use of protein concentrate of feathers in mixed fodders for young progeny porcine in an amount of 5% / t of mixed fodder gave the possibility to achieve a daily average increase of 531 g in the first period and 589 g in the second growing period, the use of mixed fodder to 1 kg of increase was lower by 6,8%, yield at slaughter -79,83%, muscle of eye area of – 38,34 cm², the cost price of one kg of mixed fodder was reduced by 10 bani compared to the control lot. At a rate of inclusion of protein concentrate of feathers of 3%, an economic effect of 78.50 lei /head was obtained, and the inclusion of 5% provided an economic impact on each gilt in the amount of -106.52 lei / head.
