This study involves a complex problem linked to the identification and analysis of the geographical cultural landscapes. Research is focused on the tools that can be applied to the analysis of landscape components. The use of the Geographic Informational Systems is a modern approach to such processes as marking, mapping, monitoring and geographical analysis with reference to landscapes. New technology and the subsequent opening to the public of the results of the study can guarantee that such data may be used anytime they are requested regardless the topic of interest in other thematic researches. Geographic Informational Systems represent a powerful tool for viewing, representation and dissemination of research results related to landscapes. They include geospatial data itself, interactive digital maps and dynamic three- dimensional space visualization and maps on paper. |
