The present article describes the Adventure Learning (the Expeditionary type), by explaining its socio-constructivist origins. Moreover, there are listed the benefits and risks of this type of education. It underlines the new role of the teachers in the contemporary education system, as a guide and a supporter. The student’smotivationstemsfromthete acher’sownenthusiasticparticipation, as the authors believes that the success of the education process comes from its enjoyment by the students. This is why the authors thoroughly describe the forms and the stages of Adventure learning as the best approach for elementary school students to study and understand the environment. |
