Rezumat | ||||||
In this study, the biological effect of silver nanoparticles (AgNP) on the cyanobacterium strain Spirulina platensis CNMN-CB-11 was investigated. It has been established that AgNP moderately stimulates spirulina productivity, substantially increasing lipid content and moderately reducing protein and polysaccharide content in biomass. Considering these results, AgNPs can be used for spirulina cultivation and production of biomass as raw material for nutraceuticals with multiple functional applications. |
