The work presents some aspects concerning the composition, morphology and biology of parasitic entities which bring about brown spot at apples and also the results of the biological
efficiency test against Phyllosticta of the new fungicides like: Tuoreg 500 WP, Champ WP, Raeoc EC, Propistock 250 EC and Taspa 500 EC. The obtained results showed that the biological efficiency of the fungicides which contain copper (Champ WP and Kocide 2000 WP) against Phyllosticta was relatively low. A biological efficiency as in the standards was established in the experiments with fungicides which contain difenoconasol (Raeoc EC and Taspa 500 EC) and a higher biological efficiency was obtained in the experiments with Tuoreg 500 WP(fungicide fromthegroup of strobilurines).
