The article is devoted to research technological preconditions for the development of information law in the United States, as a new area of law, active development of which is observed throughout the world. In the administrative context using the method of historical and legal analysis in the article the gradual stages of development of information technologies in the most information-developed countries of the world – the United States, in order to understand the material base of and subsequent formation of information relations in American society and the use of positive international experience the process of development of information society in some countries.

Статтю присвячено актуальному дослідженню технологічних передумов становлення інформаційного права у Сполучених Штатах Америки як нової галузі права, активний розвиток якої спостерігається у всьому світі. В адміністративному контексті за допомогою методу історико-правового аналізу у статті розглянуто поступові етапи розвитку інформаційних технологій у найбільш інформаційно-розвинутій державі світу – Сполучених Штатах Америки, щоб зрозуміти матеріальні підстави виникнення та подальшого формування інформаційних відносин в американському соціумі та використання позитивного світового досвіду у процесі розбудови інформаційного суспільства в окремих країнах.
