In last decades there is a continued increase in the incidence of hepatocellular carcinoma in developed countries, in connection with the registration of an increased number of cases of infection with hepatitis C. The analysis of the study conducted show that hepatocellular carcinoma was detected more frequently in men 70,8% than in women 29,2%, with a sex ratio 2,1: 1 with mean age 65,3 ±1,3 years, and viral hepatitis (67,0%) were suspected as the main ethiologic factor in the aetiology of hepatocellular carcinoma. Hepatocellular carcinoma has no specific clinical features, in most cases patients had typical clinical and laboratory data of liver cirrhosis with ascites. Ultrasound method in the detection of hepatocellular carcinoma is more sensitive – 79,0% than the alpha-fetal proteinmarker which recorded values over 400ng/ml in 38,7% only. |

</dc:description> <dc:source>Revista ştiinţifico-practică ”Info-Med” 28-2 (2) 117-118</dc:source> <dc:subject>hepatocellular carcinoma</dc:subject> <dc:subject>alpha-fetal proteinmarker</dc:subject> <dc:subject>viral hepatitis</dc:subject> <dc:title>Particularități clinice și de diagnostic ale carcinomului hepatocellular</dc:title> <dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/article</dc:type> </oai_dc:dc>
